descriptionOn June 11, 2026, the results were announced of a competition organized by the Association of Polish Architects for the best architectural project of significant architectural value, completed in 2025 within Poland — the SARP 2026 Award of the Year.
The entries were evaluated by a jury chaired by Marek Chrobak, President of the SARP Executive Board, and comprising:
- Natalia Balcerzak — representative of the SARP Board of Presidents
- Ewa Knaflewska — representative of the Mazovian Provincial Conservator of Monuments
- Agnieszka Stefańska — Association of Interior Architects
- Andrzej Bulanda — SARP Warsaw Branch
- Maciej Kowalczyk — SARP Warsaw Branch
- Jakub Krzysztofik — SARP Łódź Branch
- Przemo Łukasik — SARP Katowice Branch
- Karol Nieradka — SARP Szczecin Branch
- Mariusz Ścisło — SARP Warsaw Branch
- Maciej Jeżewski — representative of Saint-Gobain, the competition’s sponsor
- Thomas Kauf — representative of the German Architects’ Association
- Maciej Nonasa — competition secretary
Twenty-one buildings in 10 categories were nominated for the finals.
The Grand Prix and the Award in the “Single-Family Residential Building” category were awarded to MAK Studio Łukasz Krzesiak for the Dom w Domu project in Podkowa Leśna.
In the “Multi-family Residential Building” category, the Book House in Poznań, designed by Litoborski + Marciniak Architectural Office, was recognized .
In the “Office, Educational, or Administrative Building” category, the award went to the SGH Innovation Space Center in Warsaw, designed by Stelmach i Partnerzy.
In the “Cultural Building” category, the award went to the new headquarters of the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, designed by Plus3 Architekci.
In the “Other Public Building” category , the award was given to the team at Projekt Praga for their design of the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Warsaw.
In the “Sustainable Development and Certified Buildings” category, the award went to the AFI Office House in Warsaw, designed by JEMS Architekci.
In the “Public Space” category, two pedestrian and bicycle footbridges over the Warta River in Poznań, designed by the teams of Ski Studio Błażej Szurkowski, ARPA Jerzy and Bartosz Gurawski, and Maciej Sokolnicki, were recognized .
In the “Heritage Architecture” category, the award went to the revitalization and adaptation of the Arche Klasztor Wrocław in Gdańsk, designed by Piotr Grochowski.
In the “Interior Architecture” category, the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Warsaw, designed by Projekt Praga, was once again awarded .
In the “Landscape Architecture” category, the award went to the Family Activity Park in the Wawer district of Warsaw, designed by the JAZ+ Architekci studio.
In the “Best Building Constructed with Public Funds” category, the award went to the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Warsaw, a concept created by Projekt Praga.
